The “Vape Waste” project aims to raise awareness about the environmental impact of electronic cigarette waste and educate consumers on responsible disposal methods. This initiative includes an informational poster and an interactive website to effectively convey the message. The objective of this project was to educate consumers about the environmental consequences of improper electronic cigarette disposal. This project encourages users to adopt proper vape waste management practices to minimize the ecological footprint. I created a color palette which is indicative of warning signs in order to communicate the seriousness of the issue and make references to the chemical impact of improper vape disposal. I decided to use a very minimalistic graphics style and use symbols to convey the hazardous reality of vape disposal. I hope this project reminds people to value our environment more and educate themselves further on how to correctly dispose of products.
